The Mona Lisa Project

In recent months, LiveAction.org secretly videotaped patient consultations at various Planned Barrenhood facilities, pretending to be a young teen who got pregnant by her much older boyfriend, asking how to go about getting an abortion without her parents' knowledge or getting the guy in trouble.

By law, these clinics are required to report such cases as child abuse/rape, but - surprise, surprise - they instead cover them up. The PP employees in these clips are sick and disgusting. When I think of those involved in making abortions possible, I think of this passage in the Bible:

Psalms 109:7-16
(7) When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
(8) Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
(9) Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
(10) Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
(11) Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.
(12) Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
(13) Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
(14) Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
(15) Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
(16) Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.

Just to let you know, I refuse to publish any comment condoning abortion, so save yourself the trouble of leaving one if you disagree with me.

  1. I find the timing of this post troubling in view of recent events in the news. Are you condoning (Dr Tiller's) murder?

  2. There is no reason ever, ever, to commit murder by aborting. EVER. So I'm glad you won't publish comments that condone it. Anyone that gets pregnant has other options besides murder. I've had close friends that gave their baby up for adoption. Abortion is a selfish act, all the way around. It is incredibly sad. :( I'm sure some people want to tout health issues as to why they abort. That could have been thought of before they played. If I knew that having a baby would be detrimental to my health, wouldn't I have made sure I avoided everything possible to prevent geting pregnant? If I found out I was pregnant with a down syndrome baby, he is still the creation of God and I will love him/her no matter what. There never is a valid reason for abortion. I read about a family also where the wife was raped and became pregnant. She knew it wasn't the baby's fault so she gave birth to the baby, and is now being raised in the same home, loved by everyone.

  3. Wow that's awful, now I feel sick.

  4. Also, are those of us that value life suddenly not allowed to talk about abortion because someone who did abortions was murdered? It is and always will be wrong to have an abortion, so why should the "timing" be an issue?

  5. Anna, murder is wrong. Why would the fact that those of us that are against baby murder be for the murder of a doctor that murdered babies? The law should have had him on death row, and it's wrong that he was murdered, just as it was wrong for HIM to murder.

  6. God's mercy and forgiveness is there for the asking for the poor mothers who have chosen abortion. There are so, so many now!

  7. Anna- I also would agree with Mrs W. This is a perfect time to expose the wickedness of abortion and all the other corruptness that comes with it. This doctor may have never gotten killed if we all took a stand against abortion as we should and had it banned a long time ago. Murder is murder and God says it is wrong!

  8. yes, the murder of that abortion doctor was just as wrong as abortion itself. It is sad that someone would resort to committing the same sin as the doctor they were killing.

  9. So sad! My heart breaks for the poor women that get caught up in the abortion industry. The industry is about nothing but money and greed. If they were truly "concerned" about these women, they would see the life-long guilt and trauma that the poor women endure after an abortion.

  10. I refuse to believe that pulling a baby partially out of the vaginal canal, stabbing a knife into it's skull, suctioning it's brain out, and partially dismembering the baby, before removing the pieces, is less traumatic on a woman, than just going ahead and delivering the baby whole and alive. In light of the violence of the procedure, the assertion that he was killing the baby to save the woman's life is absurd.
Only a demon from hell could have conceived of this horrific way of murdering the most vulnerable of God's children.
The execution of Dr. Tiller was by comparison, merciful, when juxtaposed against the reality of the torturous murders he perpetrated on over 60,000 pre-born babies. That's babies. . . not fetal tissue. He murdered living babies, with fully intact central nervous systems. They were seconds away from taking their first God breathed, breath of life.
The mainstream "Pro-Life" leaders are scrambling to do damage control. They want to circumvent the "Pro-Choice" movement's claim that "Pro-Life" adherents are a dangerous fringe group, worthy of the label of "RightWing Extremists". I understand the leaders of the Pro-Life movement's actions. None of us want to give the abortionists any ammunition with which to marginalize us. But, I for one believe the "Pro-Life" movement has been emasculated. We are allowing the Godless, to set the agenda at every turn. We are just reacting and running scared, from the homosexual agenda, from the abortionists. . . running scared from that man of lawlessness Obama.
God seems to have turned his back on America. This whole thing makes me think of Ezekial 20:23 I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries; 24 Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers’ idols. 25 Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live; 26 And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.
27 Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me. 28 For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings. 29 Then I said unto them, What is the high place whereunto ye go? And the name thereof is called Bamah unto this day. 30 Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations? 31 For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.

  11. There are always options and the actions of the P.P nurses are inexcusable. With that being said, the law that they are trying to circumvent was created to help children who are raped and impregnated by fathers, uncles, brothers, grandfathers and relatives of sorts. Happens more often than stranger rape. These rape victims are children of God too who have been horribly violated. They most often have no one to turn to except the P.P. clinics. Privacy and secrecy are their only solace. Who are we to decide for them what they should do and what GOd wants. Judge not.

  13. No offense or anything (or maybe you'll take it that way), but sometimes I feel like when I read your blog that some of these posts just serve to start drama with people. I believe that the PP folks are dead wrong for not reporting what they are required to legally....after all a law is a law is a law....but sometimes you just seem to take it too far. Your blog...write what you want...but is it really necessary to be so melodramatic sometimes? Sheesh!

  14. Hey... I don't condone abortion (Unless there is risk that the fetus or mother might die in the process) but seriously, is this really anyone's business? What if it had been different, and they had gone under the premise that they wanted to have the baby without their parents finding out, and put it up for adoption? Would you still have thought it bad of them to "lie" to their parents?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Planned Parenthood definitely has their own agenda. They are not at all concerned with the wellbeing of the girls who come in, so long as the girl gets an abortion.

Planned Parenthood is a criminal organization and I cannot believe our tax dollars support them...

  16. This post was not inspired by recent news about the shooting of George Tiller. I had actually started writing it last week, but had not yet had time to embed the video clips and therefore did not publish it until today.

I certainly do not condone vigilantism and taking it upon ourselves to execute judgment. But am I glad that Tiller is dead - absolutely! At least he will not be killing any more babies. I am glad Tiller is dead and in hell, while the children he murdered will spend eternity with Christ. I am sure by now he is not in favor of abortions any more.

I very much agree with the above comment left by Dismas, particularly regarding the pro-life camp. Is there actually a born-again Christian out there who in their heart of hearts is truly grieved by the death of this monster? To compare the murder of tens of thousands of innocent babies to the execution of this sick, perverted man is insanity.

Let's say you are shopping at the mall, when suddenly you observe a man pulling out a gun and opening fire on random children playing at the play area. He keeps gunning them down, one after the other, and they try in vain to get away or find mercy. Let's say a security guard runs up and shoots the murderer in the head, finally stopping him. Would pro-lifers call the security guard a murderer? Would they say that it was wrong to kill the shooter? What about soldiers who kill the enemy in combat - is that murder?

All taking of human life is not murder. Yes, I agree that it is not our job to execute judgment. Abortion doctors and nurses should be tried for murder and speedily executed by our justice system. It is sad that today in our country, babies can be murdered in their mothers' wombs, which should be the safest place on the face of the earth for them. Their murder is only legal because the children are small, and "invisible". Evil societies have always tried to kill off the young and the elderly, as well as other "fringe" populations. There is a bill being introduced in Texas right now, aptly dubbed the "Infanticide Bill", that would make the killing of a child under one year of age not murder, punishable by 180 days to max 2 years in prison, and/or a max. fine of $10,000. Such heinous acts will bring the judgment of God on our nation.

Again, I am not advocating acts of violence. If Tiller had died in a car accident or any other way, I would be just as glad. Many times in the Bible, God used wicked, heathen people to execute judgment on his own people. That doesn't automatically make those nations and their acts righteous.

No doubt, this comment of mine will draw much criticism and hate from those who are (often willingly) ignorant of God's Word.

Psalm 58:10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

Genesis 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

  17. I go a step beyond being against abortion - I know many (many) Christians that despise those that have large families. They are in essence cursing the children of welfare families and poor minorities (just two of a number of examples) for having "too many" children. They do nothing to help those children. I get the response that there are too many and they don't know how to go about helping - and the lifestyle of the parents are wicked (as if that justifies leaving the children neglected). Well, if you see a family that you are despising for having too many children - then you have just hardened your heart against the prompting of God to help that particular family.

I am not saying that the living conditions or lifestyle choices of these examples of large families are right - but God is clear that children are a blessing and how can they learn anything different if we chose to despise and not help? First with necessities of life and then with the Gospel.

  18. I had seen one of these video's a while back, and was sickened beyond belief. The people that work at these clinics will do anything (obviously) to get these girls to get an abortion!! It just sickens me right done to the marrow in my bones!

FWIW, I agree completely with your above comment.

    Blessings,
    Christy

  19. I have an honest question for all of your commentors here. Ok, when a girl/woman goes to the abortion clinic she is usually met with a bunch of protesters. Most of those protesters are good christians. So they try to get the mom to change her mind. Alot of times they do succeed. Yea! I victory for the anti-abortion side! However, then the same christians who begged her NOT to kill her baby complain about people using socail services, welfare, WIC, etc. Why? Why is it that you plead to save a child then tear a woman down for needing help? I honestly would love to know this. I am anti-abortion. I have an abortion in the past. Then when I went again, I listened to a nice woman outside and came home. I know how I 5yo child who is a special needs child that I need social services for. Just seems to me that you can't have it both ways! I am not trying to be snarky. I really have always wondered about this and what it is you think the mother should do.

  20. "...I really have always wondered about this and what it is you think the mother should do."

Use every means availble to you to get the help you need.

This is exactly what I am talking about in my above comment. The money is there to help those that need it. If you are in need, use it, and it isn't for anyone else to say otherwise.

At the same time, there need to be wise lifestyle choices made and Christians who will truly help (not condemn) to aid in guideing that individual through those choices. Since the government has effectively cut the only One who is Truth from helping in making choices, Christians need to be alert and engaged in helping those in need.

I have faced this in my own church - those that sit in judgement of the needy - but don't actually do anything to help as if they aren't worthy. The Lord will judge that self righteous attitude as well as other more "visible" sin.

    Blessings,
    Patti

  21. Proverbs 6:16,17a
1These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, AND HANDS THAT SHED INNOCENT BLOOD......
who is more innocent than an unborn baby? Every doctor (and anyone who has assisted)that has performed and abortion has the blood of the innocent on their hands.

  22. We are being told that Dr Tiller is a hero because these women were in "life threatening situations" and "couldn't birth the baby" etc. They cannot convince me that they had abortions for “life-threatening” reasons. They say they would die if they delivered a baby. BUT…to have a partial birth abortion you HAVE to give birth to the baby, so why kill it once it’s out? They were obviously “medically able” to birth the legs and the body, so birthing the head really wouldn’t have been that much of a big deal. So really, all they wanted to do is kill the baby in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  23. This is just CREEPY. Very unsettling. Girls in situations like this need MUCH MORE help than these employees are providing. I am so sad for all the girls and women who have trusted Planned Parenthood. I wonder if they found any offices that actually do report these crimes.

  24. Ugh, don't even get me started on PP -_-

Frankly, I am sick of all their hate. I wish they would just go away and leave babies alone! What did they ever do to them?

And Mrs W, thank you for the info. I did not know that!

  25. Anonymous, I agree. I think that one of the best ways to decrease the number of abortions is to make motherhood easier for women. Also to promote adoption. I'd stay I'm more pro-adoption than anything in the world.

  26. Mrs Zsusanna, I hope it is ok to make a book recommendation on here, if not, just delete the comment.

When I was around 18-19, my pride and rebellion had me in a position where I was homeless. I ended up living in a shelter with several other troubled and homeless teens. Many of the young girls came to me for advice. When they would get pregnant (mostly through prostitution) I would counsel them to get the morning after pill. At the time, I honestly had NO clue what the morning after pill really did. If I did I would never have suggested it.

So then later, when I found somewhere to live and people started reaching out to me, I found out what that pill really did, and I was heartbroken. I felt personally responsible for the abortion of several possible babies. I could not get the guilt to go away. I honestly believed that, if I were to get pregnant, that God would take my child in the form of miscarriage or stillbirth as a punishment.

Quite by random selection I chose a book at the local "Christian" bookstore to read. It was called "The Atonement Child" by Francine Rivers. It's a novel, and it's about abortion. Although I wasn't saved at the time, I read that book and begged God for forgiveness.

It was around this time that I started to believe that ALL kinds of birth control were wrong because it was anti-life. Instead of killing a baby already conceived, birth control was making sure that women didn't conceive in the first place. BOTH of these attitudes are just as anti-life as the other.

I got saved in 2008, long after all of this, and I have two small boys and one on the way. God is good.

Anyway I don't know why I shared all of this except to say that if a woman has been hurt through abortion, "The Atonement Child" by Francine Rivers is an awesome book to read.

  27. Mrs. W,

Thank you for sharing your story.

I wanted to quickly add that hormonal birth control can and does end life after conception.

There are two types of hormonal methods (pill, injections, implants, some IUDs): estrogen only, and combination.

The combination methods (estrogen and progesterone) work by causing the following three effects: 1. suppress ovulation (about 80-90% of the time), 2. slow movement of the male __ due to causing dryness, 3. hardening the lining of the uterus that if a woman should get pregnant (since she will ovulate 10-20% of the time), the 7-10 day old baby arriving from the fallopian tube in the uterus will be unable to attach, and this be lost with the woman's monthly cycle. The woman will be totally unaware of this, which is why many call it "silent abortion".

Estrogen-only pills suppress ovulation only about 10-40% of the time, and these silent abortions are much more common. These methods are more popular than combination, because they use less hormones. This would be the "mini pill", injections, implants, and certain IUDs.

You may find the following article by my husband interesting:

    http://faithfulwordbaptist.org/Birth_Control.html

He has also preached on this subject several times, I can send you links to those sermons if you like.

Congratulations on your pregnancy and best wishes

  28. I read your husband's article a few years back when I came across it. It was very informative and helpful. At the time it actually contributed to my conviction. I wanted to be saved and cared about what the Bible said long before I actually got saved. I only wish I had been convicted of all my sins rather than just that one at the time. But hey, better later than never, right?

Lol as most anyone can probably tell, we don't even believe in "natural" family planning (which is unnatural because we don't believe that God designed for us to regulate our sex so we don't make babies).

    ReplyDelete
  29. I did use the pill as a teen to "regulate" my periods because they were so horrible. However, I now wish I hadn't. They messed with my hormones big time. I came to realize later that God created our hormones a certain way and that we weren't to mess with them because that just made things worse not better.

I figure a lot of women just mustn't have a lot of information if they choose to use hormonal methods of birth control because it is just horrible.

    ReplyDelete
  30. The reason I don't believe in the pill is because I found out that it does not always prevent pregnancy. That's what most people believe. It creates a thin lining in the uterus so that if you were to get pregnant, the embryo (baby) cannot attach itself to the lining and therefor is flushed out. You can sometimes still ovulate. The pill has two functions. I was shocked and I asked my doctor about this and did my own research to find it true. I haven't taken the pill since 2001.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I don't mean to criticize you, but I am deeply grieved that you are glad that Tiller is in hell. I adamantly believe that what he did was wrong, but I feel great compassion for his soul that he never turned to Christ. I believe that this is how Christ feels as well. He feels no joy when a soul rejects Him & goes to hell.
