I have a question for you. So my brother-in-law is currently engaged to a girl that he met online and we know that she isn't good for him (she lies to him and has put him in major debt) and he is not ready to be a biblical husband/father (he doesn't read the bible or attend church), should we try to break them up? We've tried talking to him but he doesn't listen. I know that if they get married it is not going to be good, what should we do?
I just posted the question about my brother-in-law and I have another one. If they do end up getting married, would it be ok for us to skip the wedding if we don't think that they should be getting married?
I've thoroughly enjoyed your video posts! I have three living children and lost five children to miscarriage, including my oldest daughter's twin, half way through the pregnancy. It turns out I have some blood clotting disorders as well as some other issues that made pregnancy all but impossible for my body. I had to have a hysterectomy right after the birth of my last child. I lost half of the blood in my body and nearly died. I still feel like I am grieving the loss of my fertility. I wonder why it all happened that way. Could God have a purpose, even in this?
Hi Zsuzsa! I have a question that I've been having a hard time with. Our family lives in Bend, Oregon where it snows a big part of the year. I took your challenge of wearing a dress/skirt for one month and have never gone back. I've done the same with my 2 daughters. My question is, what do you suggest for playing in the snow? Most snow gear comes as snow pants. I have a hard time with this. It's a difficult one. We've solved our swimsuit issue by following the patterns you've so graciously provided. Thank you! But the snow gear is really bugging me. Hope to hear from you!
Thanks for answering my question about the organic foods! I can't afford $500-600 a week for organic food, but at least I know I am not foolishly spending my $175! We do eat many whole foods, even though they are conventional. I am just glad I can afford my farm eggs and raw milk. =) I enjoyed the Q and A- hopefully we can meet in person some day!
I just want to say you are so sweet, And I loved this Q&A, I can't wait tell the next one I have a really good question for you. I didn't see the blog in time to ask :( Your baby is so cute.
Zsuzsanna, thank you for answering my question re: pregnancy wear and tear. It was a thoughtful and nice answer. Your Q&A was insightful. Thank you for your blog too, there is a lot of information on here. Keep up the good work. From Amy
Thanks so much! I love Abeka Handbook for reading BA BE BI BO BU never gets old around here...lol! My baby Moses has the same outfit as Boaz! I have bad varicose veins like one of the readers spoke about and yikes during pregnancy it is the hardest I used compression hose and vein away cream but still they are painful =(. I know that God will give me grace to continue in childbearing and pray for healing all the time! Thanks again!
I'd like to send you a song that made me cry. I don't know what you think about it, it's just amazing. As a former Catholic I can confirm that the best part about being a Catholic was the choir music. I'm shedding tears while listening to this song: Salva me by a boy choir named "LIBERA". http://youtu.be/EKcCsSxUp0M You have given so much to people that I thought I would give back a little bit. PLS enjoy, I really hope that the content of the song isn't against anything you believe in but I don't think so.
I really love that you are doing this q&a and really enjoy watching it and hearing your great answers because my life is very similar its nice to hear a different perspective on some of the daily issues that arise in our own home I can not wait until the next session because I have some home schooling questions for you as I am new to home schooling and schooling in general as my oldest is in kindergarten I feel like I run out of creative fun ways to do art, gym, music ,and P.E
Your KINDLY WORDED, constructive comments are welcome, whether or not they express a differing opinion. All others will be deleted without second thought.
