They clean up nicely

We were invited out to eat last Sunday. Went to one of our very favorite places, St. Francis Restaurant in Phoenix. Like, love, or hate this blog - but it will always direct you to the best food around.

Whatever did we do before camera phones to capture these handsome dudes (the girl is pretty cute, too...)?

That's all - just showing off these beautiful people I made. And to think that's not even all of them! :)

  2. Go ahead and delete this one. Your husband and you make me SO GLAD I'm atheist! Your poor children. To be born into this circus of absurdity is child abuse. I hope they can rise above the both of you, and learn to think for themselves. I feel sorry for you.

    1. While Zsuzsanna and I rarely agree on religion or politics, I appreciate her blog for many reasons. I am shocked that you would leave such a hateful comment under a picture of such beautiful children. Do YOUR blog readers know you are a despicable and hateful troll?

    2. I never, NEVER trust a smile, not when it comes from a grown up and especially not when I know they are full blown versions of something, and that something isn't always a good thing. I educate people not to automatically link a smile with decency, goodness, kindness.
You are a snake, and you are especially dangerous since you must be preying on naive people. I'm trying not to become a total cynic, but beings like you make me trust smiling - or, in this case, grinning - people less than anyone who's a jerk but is at least more up front about it so that people will KNOW what they are dealing with.
I despise people like you, grinning at the world with large, fake yellow teeth, huggin puppiez, bunniez, kitti-wittiez. When people learn who you are, it's the hardest slap across the face if they trust your puppy huggin, grinning picture.
I want my comment allowed please even if it's the last comment that will allowed to be visible on here.
Crawl back under the rock you came out of, snake. Hiss and spew venom alone in the dark where you belong.
SHAME ON YOU for attacking innocent, happy, pretty, beautiful children who have a roof above their head, a pool in the yard, pretty clothes, and a tummy full of goodies.
You are a hateful, despicable excuse for a human being.
And YOU ARE THE REASON why I have trust issues, why I avoid people, why I silently judge everyone before letting them even ask me what time it is. Beings like you turn everyone into people-hating, suspicious misantrophes who will appreciate a book, a mug of good tea, Russian classical music over having people around anytime!

      YOU SNAKE!!!

  4. I look back on this blog every once in awhile like I do a few other public blogs. Some interesting ideas and opinions, and don't believe for one minute I agree with all of them, but some definitely make me think. However, just one little comment on this post, and it should go without saying but......you didn't make anyone. Only God does that. You've been blessed with 8 cute kids, but that's all because God allowed it. Just saying.

    1. "you didn't make anyone. Only God does that." Well stated. In fact, David said God knit him together in his Mother's womb.

  5. Your children are beautiful, however, you didn't make them. God did. Further, I must be really old fashioned, but don't we Christians have 6 days to do business and the 7th day belongs to the Lord? And finally, why are you doing business with and taking your beautiful children to a restaurant that serves alcohol?

    1. 1. God does not just drop off finished humans on this earth, but rather, uses mother's bodies to build them. Your comment is equally ridiculous to those who say that we don't save anyone from hell. God uses human instruments to do his work, and yes, he does give us credit for our part.

      2. In the New Testament, we are clearly not expected to observe the Sabbath. Besides, that would be Saturday, not Sunday, assuming that the calendar has never missed a weekday since creation. For all you know, the original 7th day actually falls on a Wednesday now.

  6. Cute pic of the kids. The hateful commenter on the other hand has yellow buck teeth. The barren womb is never satisfied. Sad.

  7. Zsuzsanna. I'm going to be praying for you, because some of the things that you say make me wonder if you're really saved. You obviously have a lot of people following this blog that need the Lord and I wonder if some of the things you say are furthering the cause of Christ. I'm not trying to be critical but we must be careful. 1 Thes 5:22. I will add that if I had 8 kids, no matter how cute or how much I loved them, I would be a basket case. Guess that's why the Lord only gave me 1. He is infinitely wise!

  8. Anonymous-
Regarding the observation of the Sabbath- even though we are free not to observe it (with rules and regulations, legalism) my family chooses to use that day (Sunday) as a day to worship together and spend time together. Sometimes that includes things like going to a zoo, or park or just being together at home. We do sometimes shop on that day, but I try to avoid it as much as possible. Never going to a restaurant that serves alcohol seems overboard. If you feel a conviction not to drink any alcoholic beverage, then do not order one and teach your children the dangers of alcohol and all other drugs (yes, alcohol is a drug).

  9. All I see is a mother happily showing off her children, I'm not seeing why people keep saying you said a horiable thing. I see nothing horiable at all just a loving mother. And some very cute kids.
