Things that make me scratch my head and go "hmmm...."

Today, I came across this piece of paper from Isaac:

"Things that you need" - for what??? When I asked him, he looked puzzled. "Mom, it's just stuff that you need!" Must be a boy thing. Sure enough, I have found all of the above items in his pockets at one time or another, except for the heater. A heater? In Arizona?

Things that make me smile?

Our oldest and our littlest baby playing together.

It's little stuff like this each day that makes life wonderful.

  1. Maybe he has heard some of the cöncerning news that circulate around these days. People prepare for pretty serious things, maybe he has picked up on those... who knowa. Peple are seriously preparing for something that's yet to come. If your boy, who is a smart person, heard any of those things, might be too concerning for him.

  2. Anna is a DOLL, you two have created absolutely gorgeous children!

  3. Hahahaha! Of course...because ALL busy mothers NEED smoke bombs!!!! ;)

  4. This is so random, but have you ever read What Would Jesus Eat? By don culbert, m.d. I think you would enjoy it.

  5. I would love for you to make a post about this horrific action and thought I would bring it to your attention.

  6. another you could do a post on as well. This one made me want to be sick. I thought of you being pregnant and realized no one is safe from these people, not even a pregnant woman.

  7. I must admit, I'm in absolutely love with the relationship between Anna and Solomon...then I did the math and realised that she and Solomon are the same age apart as I am from my brother! It must be because I'm looking at a mirror of my own childhood pictures and feelings!

Oh, Isaac, you always seem to live up to your name and make me laugh! I can only imagine what he was thinking, I'm just glad you don't have a heater...a smoke bomb superglued to a heater? Oh dear, oh dear...!

I think it's lovely that you keep this blog--what a treasure it will be to have the photographs and stories for when your children are grown. I imagine it will garner some laughs, cringes (in a good 'oh I was so cheeky!' way), and tears. Keep up the good work!

May God bless you, Dad, and the seven,

  8. Now that is just the most precious photo I've seen in a while. May Solomon and Anna always be loving siblings as a Godly example to a Christian home and family.

May God bless you. I am indeed praying for you that all will be more than well with your pregnancy.

You are so beautiful, and I love you all so much. Thank you for sharing- I've learned quite a bit.

    In Christ,
    Isaiah 26:3

  9. I just stumbled across your blog, after a suggestion from my boyfriend [<such a trite term... maybe man-with-serious-intentions would be better] and wanted to say 'hello!', as I blog as well =)

  10. Where did your child get a smoke bomb? Must be an American thing...
