Wedding at our church

Just a quick post to share some pictures from yesterday's wedding at our church for those of you who had asked for them. It all turned out really nicely! :)

Here is a video of the wedding:

Congratulations to the beautiful new couple!

  1. Beautiful! Congratulations to the happy couple!

  2. Congratulations to them both!

I loved the part where Pastor A. talked about leaving their family size to the Lord. :) :)

May the Lord bless you, and use you as a married couple for His glory!!!!

  3. The wedding looks wonderful. I love the candid family portrait of all of you. Wishing the best for the marriage couple.

  4. I just looove those dresses on your girls! Such a lovely wedding and what a great place to get married!

  5. What a beautiful bride! Thanks for sharing.

  6. That was a beautiful wedding , congratulations to the new couple . Love your new family picture , those dresses are beautiful .

  7. What a beautiful wedding and such a nice photo of your family too! Many blessings to the new couple and to your family as well.

  8. What a lovely wedding and a beautiful bride! When your husband pronounced them husband and wife, her smile just lit up the room! She even forgot her bouquet!

And of course, not to be outdone, there were some very sweet flower girls--oh, Becky was just so adorable when she just ran down the aisle and flung herself at her father! A Daddy's Girl indeed!

(It's interesting, I remember from days as a 'bride to be' there was a frequent topic on the 'wedding boards' about whether or not to have children at the wedding. My thought was how else will children learn about what marriage, commitment, and the expectations of a spouse should be?)

With that aside, I wish Mr. and Mrs. Miller all the love, happiness, and luck in the world! And may your church be blessed with a new little member soon!

May God Bless Mr. and Mrs. M and the eight of you,

P.S. The girls' dresses are just precious and make for a lovely family photograph.

  9. Nice decorations! Everyone must have pitched in a lot of work to pull it all together!

I WAS surprised the bride didn't choose a modest dress though. It was a bit on the sexy side lol

  10. Go back into your hole fj troll. I don't know why you wretches insist on making nasty comment about every little thing. The bride's dress was very lovely. Go back to bragging about how good you think your gadar is lol.

  11. Dear Anonymous,

How dare you criticize the bride’s dress on a website/blog that she will see. Have you no common courtesy at all? The dress covered her from her shoulders to her feet. What would you have her wear? A burka? A gunnysack? The bride was stunningly beautiful because that is how God made her. If you are going to be “catty” about the bride’s dress, please do it where she cannot see or hear you.

  12. I agree that the dress, as well as the bride, were beautiful and modest. In order to make her appear entirely unappealing, she would have had to hide inside a cardboard box or something. Some people are naturally beautiful - the bride is definitely one of those people.

  13. I, too, was a bit surprised that at least her shoulders weren't covered. It is a pretty dress. It just wasn't something I'd expect a Christian girl to wear. But it was a nice ceremony!
