Please excuse the dust...

... as I tinker around with my blog design this weekend. I'm hoping to give the blog a facelift, as well as make it easier to go back and find old posts.

UPDATE: The design is almost done, there are just a couple of buttons missing. The major thing that remains to be done is going back through 500+ posts to get the labels on all of them the way I want them for the archives. Not sure how long that will take me to finish up.

  1. I'm not sure if you are after feedback or not but I'm going to give you some anyway LOL
I am finding the contrast of the white text on the red background very difficult to read; it's not easy on the eyes

and wow! only four weeks to go until the baby! I am very excited for you and your family

    Hi Zsuzsanna,

a suggestion from me: You may want to consider publishing a list of books that you and the children read. I am so curious about what other people are reading. I am a total bookworm.

I would also love to see you on the fotos more often, since you are the blog author.

    Blessings,

    Rebecca A.

  3. Patience, Alice, patience. There are a lot of elements still missing. In the end, the font will go back to black.

Thanks, Rebecca, for the good ideas.

    Elizabeth, thanks.

Are you doing the coding by yourself? This is very impressive so far, although you might want to check your size values on the header- it doesn't seem static to me, since if I move the mouse it gets larger.

  7. LOL Sorry! I wasn't sure if it was intentional or not because changing the html for text is not that tricky. I do like the categories across the top; makes it so much easier to find all your old posts
