Exciting (but not very surprising) news

We are happy to announce that we are expecting another little blessing, due sometime in early December. Other than being very fatigued and experiencing the usual morning sickness, all is well. The other kids are all very excited, especially John, who is hoping to have a brother AND a sister born on his birthday, which is December 11.

If you are so inclined, please pray for a safe pregnancy and birth, and for God's continued blessing on our family in these uncertain times.

  7. I'm so happy for you all! Praying for a safe pregnancy and easing up of your morning sickness. The first trimester was always hard on me, too. Last time, I discovered that cinnamon tic tacs seemed to help!

Will you be using your same midwife that you had for Becky and Miriam?

  15. Congratulations!!! What a blessing.

If you do happen to have twins, co-sleeping is no big deal. I have had two sets of twins. You just sleep in between the babies and roll from side to side nurse each one as you sleep. I had a co-sleeper next to the bed so the baby on the edge would have more room. For the first month or so, my husband and I each slept sort of propped up each with a baby on our chest.

Praise God for little children!!! We will be praying for your family.

(send a small prayer for us too if you would. I have been praying God to bless us with more children. We have 5 girls but, it's been 4 years)

  23. I hope you lose it! It is bad enough that your other kids are sick, twisted little monsters. I don't pray but I will be on my knees every night praying for a miscarriage!

  24. Frankfurt, I'm guessing you are German. I am also guessing that you think me/my kids are sick, twisted monsters because I hate gays and evil people who have been rejected by God.

Of course, you yourself are hateful and twisted if you want a little baby to die because of how its parents believe. You are guilty of the same thing you are angry at me for. Except, I have the word of God to back me up, and you don't.

  25. Chapter and verse where God literally says he rejects someone, or that they can't be saved? And when it talks about a reprobate mind it doesn't say they can't get saved or that they are rejected.

  26. Oh, I am SOOO happy for you! Hope you have a blissful pregnancy and a wonderful birth!
Our Pastor recently preached about how children should be considered blessings...not burdens as much of the word views them. What an honor to carry and birth a gift from God! Blessings for a safe and healthy pregnancy! :)

Oh, and Frankfurt: What mean, hateful and spiteful things to say. You have much to answer to when you stand before God. GET A LIFE!!!!!!

  28. Hi! I was just wondering how do tell your husband you're expecting again? Do you usually surprise him or just tell him? My husband and I plan on having as many kids as God will bless us with thanks to your husband's preaching! I'm expecting our second child right now and look forward to the ones that will be coming!! But I just wanted to know what you do! I tried to surprise my husband with this baby by leaving the test on the toilet in the bathroom and after he walked in and out without noticing it I pulled him in there and showed him lol! Hope to hear back from you! I really love your blog!!
