More Photos

Channel 3 News in Phoenix did another report on this last night, you can view it here.

Update:

Please click here to view the report that CNN aired earlier today on this incident.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We just received these still photos today. Please do not view them in front of children, as they are quite perturbing.
In case you were wondering, we have made every effort to shield our children from this as much as possible. They have neither watched the YouTube clips, nor will be allowed to view these photos. We do not have TV so they have not seen any of the news coverage regarding this incident. They are homeschooled, so I also do not have to worry about what other children in school might be saying about/to them. Obviously, they did see their Dad when he first got home covered in bloody scabs and blood-stained clothes, but they are taking it as well as could be expected of them.
Again, this is not suitable for viewing in front of children.
Still shots of my husband in the border patrol trailer after being bandaged
After getting the stitches and being cleaned up more in the ER
Photos of the front driver side window. My husband's head was shoved into the broken glass while he was sitting in the driver seat, incapacitated by a taser. This lead to the cuts on his forehead that needed 11 stitches.
Photo of the front passanger window, which was bust out by DPS officer J. Mitchell. He used the hole to immediately deploy his taser on my husband, after telling him to cover his eyes in anticipaton of the glass breaking. My husband covered his eyes, put his head in his lap, and was tased the next moment even though he never resisted arrest or threatened the officers in any way at all. He is not even being charged with resisting arrest.
My husband's camcorder, which was sitting on the dashboard. He also had another camcorder in the vehicle. Both have been confiscated by the DPS and have still not been given back to us even though we have been given a DVD with the recordings that were found on them. They are our personal property, and each worth about $400.
  1. The pictures with the blood on the top of the car door prove they shoved his head in broken glass!
  2. Well For me this is business as usual for the boys in green. Having lived in San diego all my life and with in a stones throw of the border none of this is new. In the last 30 + years not only have I witnessed inumerable crimes committed by the Border Patrol, I have in fact been victimizewd by the boys in green on a number of occasions.
    The last 40 second sof the New Mexico tape was quite reminisent of one of my encounters with them where they lingered i the way of the car after letting me go.
    You have become my hero and as soon as I return to work a contribution towards your legal fees is on the way. Mean time it is no coincidence that you were targeted for a severe ass whooping. When you bested thenm you embarrassed them and you targeted for retribution. Had you stepped oput of your car in the check point east of Yuma you might have been gunned down trying to excape or you certainly would have been beaten for resisting arrest after they found they three pounds of fluff in your trunk.
    You my friend are an endangered species. You know the constitution and you are willing to calmly atest to your rights granted there in that document. You are a terrorist in the eyes of the terrorist that rule this nation and since you have garnered attenton your battle is on going. Be careful, watch your back and protect your family because you and they are in danger from zealots who will not see any successful challenge to their totalitarian authority.
    Peace and Justice (real Justice) be with you.
  3. I watched my best friend get tased right in front of me. It was the most horrific thing I have seen in my life. But that had nothing on what your husband went through. I'm very sorry for your family's difficulties. I wish you well, and I hope your husband heals soon.
    This is the America you as a Nation have all allowed to come into being when you all fell for the brutal but effective ruse of terrorism. This is what they have been working towards for years. You as individuals have a job ahead of you convincing your fellow Americans of what these events represent. Seems like too many still want to have that beer with George Bush.
  5. The camera in the picture is worth that much almost, if there are 2 cameras, they would have to be worth more...
    You should take this to Alex Jones, at www.prisonplanet.com he would love to talk about this on the radio, and his websites, which have thousands of viewers and listeners daily..
  6. I have been following this all along and as awful as everything has been this is the first one that has really, honestly made me sick.
  7. Why did you not simply get out of the car?
  8. Curious - what were their questions, and why did you refuse to answer them?
  9. Wish You fast recover, Steven! I know this might not be good place to ask question like that, but let me try :)
    If You were foreigner (for example Pole, like I am), have You to consent to border patrol search/etc, if they do not have probably causes?
  10. Is this sort of violence necessary? What has this nation become? What's next, bringing back lynchings? I dont live in the U.S. but I hope you are organizing a protest or sit in. This happens every day and fortunately, this was caught on tape. On the religious side, I disagree with 95%of your family's beliefs. But here is an instance where citizens need to work together to police the police. If we don't correct this as a nation, then none of us will have the freedom to woship. That will happen next.
  11. That guard w/tazer had the same sadistic grin as Charles Graner and the Abu Grahig guards. Totally disturbing. Please continue to sheild the kids from this.
  12. This whole thing has just about brought me to tears. First and foremost, the torture and persecution your husband had to endure for merely asserting his constitutional rights. It amazes me how these thugs in law enforcement garb can do these things with impunity. If it was not for your camera, your husband would probably be facing trumped up drug charges or assault on a police officer. I want to thank him for his courage and level-headedness. I would not have been able to do what he did, but wish I could!
    Secondly, your family in so many ways seems to be like ours - we are the "crunchy" Christian homeschooling type. It's rare to find families that embrace all these things. It's that connection that makes this whole thing seem so much more personal for me. I really hope I get the chance to meet you all sometime - maybe we'll try attending your church one day (we live in San Diego). I have three kids (6,4,and 11 months). Blessings to you all!
  14. please get the video of the dog alert and your lawyer needs to depo the dog handler. the BP dog people are extremely proud of their dogs. They say 100% accurate. Obviously, not this time. The dog handler is probably going to say he had nothing to do with it. BP will point the finger at the state police because BP had cause to search if the dog alerted. Why did BP wait 75 min for the DPS?
    ReplyDelete
  15. Just a correction on the person above. No dog handler will claim his dog is correct 100% of the time, no not one (well, not an honest one). They are imperfect like we are.
  16. Pascha,
    Thank you for your most recent comment on this post. I did not publish it because I did not want to repeat the phrase you quoted, even with the ***s.
    I sincerely apologize for posting the vulgar comment you were referring to. I did not mean to at all. It either slipped by me, or I accidentally published the comment rather than rejecting it. I make that mistake occasionally because I publish/reject comments on my phone, so the buttons are small and right next to each other. In any case, it was totally unacceptable, and again, I apologize to you and anyone else who read it and was offended by it.
    I have had to reject many other comments from people who agreed with my husband, but expressed themselves in a manner that I just could not post on my blog. It's not that I fault them for their language, which is none of my business, but at the same time, it is not something I want to condone by posting in here.
    Thank you for pointing this out to me!
  17. Hey Zsus!
    Sorry if I said something out of line last nite. I didn't think I did. :( Anyhow, I am very upset about what he has went thru and I hope he wins!
  18. Good for you for standing up to these morons. They abuse their power daily and I hope you get justice!
  19. let me know if there is anything we can do to help. This shouldn't happen in America.
  20. This is a horrible abuse of the officer's power. Some will contest that your husband should have answered whatever the questions were, and honestly, sometimes I think some of the videos I see are the result of someone antagonizing the cops to get something like this to happen, but not here. You husband has his civil liberties and the right to defend them and shouldn't be obligated to answer the BP's questions. Even if that is a crime, there are appropriate responses to the actions of civilians, and this response was certainly NOT appropriate for the actions of your husband. An officer should never physically brutalize someone like has happened here unless he legitimately fears for his own safety and has no other recourse.
    More and more, these officers seem to use their taser as a toy rather than a means of non-lethal defense.
    I hope you keep updating us.
    I'd be gunning for some of these people to lose their jobs, first and foremost.
  21. Just thought I'd let you know about another incident that went down in Jones County, Mississippi Thursday. Three men traveling the country in an RV for the "Searching for Freedom in America" tour, where pulled over, pepper sprayed, and arrested, under similar circumstances. You can read more about it at www.motorhomediaries.com
    Not nearly as brutal, but apparently this is becoming a common occurance. Hopefully, with the three men being associated with Congressman Ron Paul, cases like yours and theirs will be brought to the main stage.
    Good Luck!
  22. Jasmine,
    I published all of your previous comments. It was so nice hearing from you again. Not sure if they didn't show up, but I certainly didn't reject them. I remember having a problem with comments left by you not publishing in the past. :(
    Sorry about that, if I have some time this afternoon, I will see if I can try and publish them again.
  23. Hi - I saw the youtube video of actual footage that Benjamin Fulford posted.
    I just want to say that brother Anderson is a brave and righteous man. Much respect to you. I, too, am a Christian... I wonder where is the divine retribution for this evil.
    God bless you and your family.
  24. Hi Zsuz,
    Glad to know it was a goof. lol Any updates? I can only imagine how hard this is on you and him. We are praying for you and your family!
  25. You reaaly need to contact the Alliance Defense Fund and file a major Federal Lawsuite! I would soak them for as much money as you can for violating your constitutional Rights.
  26. I am currently taking a class with the San Antonio Police Department that is designed for citizens. From this class and also from much experience with the police in various cities, I can tell you that MOST cops would not approve of this type of abuse. Many good cops stay on just to combat it. Unless the good officers get our support, the entire country can end up looking like these fascists.
    The best recourse is to file a formal complaint. Though you may get no satisfaction, filing a formal complaint will prevent such fascist power jerks from getting a raise. More importantly, a formal complaint will flag these bad apples as a PR and lawsuit liability--something no department administrator with a brain bigger than a peanut wants! Insufficient as that may be, it is the best possible outcome at this time for any American taxpayer who suffers abuse at the hands of a public servant.
    My prayers are with you Steve, as I'm sure the prayers are of St. Cornelius the Centurion (a Roman cop), the first Gentile convert. I'm sure all good Christians who administered justice in this life are looking down from heaven and shaking their heads.
  27. Reading what Christians have said on Tangle.com makes me realize how blind other Christians are the tyranny that is going on in the US. Thank you so much for posting the video. Please get sue, or at least get these guys fired. Also, get an attorney. Get a good one. Get one that is pro-constitution, and has taken many, many civil rights related cases.
  28. Wait a minute. This horrific abuse, and they are not taking care of his medical bills? Just a few bandages in their trailer? This is outrageous. I wish I were a lawyer because I would represent your husband for free! Is your husband still recovering from his injuries or is he all okay now?? Praying for you and your family!
  29. I just was made aware of this via another site that I frequent. First, I'm sorry that this happened to your family. Second, I would recommend that you vigorously pursue this both criminally and civilly. Unfortunately in today's society, justice is not what will drive the bureaucracy that funds these abuses of power, but only what hits them in the pocketbook.
  30. Robert Jackon had represented the United States at the Nuremberg Trials; four years later, as a Supreme Court Justice deciding Brinegar v. United States (338 U.S. 160, 180 [1949]), he extolled the Fourth Amendment: "These rights, I protest, are not mere second-class rights but belong in the catalog of indipensable [sic] freedoms. Among deprivations of rights, none is so effective in cowing a population, crushing the spirit of the individual and putting terror in every heart. Uncontrolled search and seizure is one of the first and most effective weapons in the arsenal of every arbitrary government."
    Steve, I hope you can use this...
  33. I know this is totally old news, and you and I disagree on many things, but I am a hardcore minarchist and this hit my rage button. This is so stunningly awful. I am so sorry this happened to your husband. Mine is about as anti-government as one can get, and I could see this happening to him. It takes my breath away. I'm just so sorry. I'm going to keep reading to see what happened next, but I am rooting for y'all.
    Your husband is incredibly brave.
