  2. Though the guy showed poor judgment in making a big, public proposal, and though we have no idea who he is, this video is mean.

  3. I feel sorry for both of them. I must admit that if my husband had done anything like that, I would have said 'no' too. A proposal should be something intimate and private not a big thing in front of a bunch of strangers.

  4. Um. Why do you find that funny? Must we laugh, and encourage others to laugh, at the humiliation of other people?
He was a prat to have done that, but really, what are we now, a human zoo?
Maybe I'm having a sense of humour fail.

  5. I remember seeing this on the news.....I didn't think it was funny. I felt SO bad for this guy. I thought if this woman had any heart at all she should have pulled him aside (in a private place) and told him no.

  6. I can't believe anyone would think that was funny. It was humiliating for both of them. He should never have popped the question in a public arena like that unless he knew for sure that the answer would be yes.

  7. Well, as humiliating as it was for the girl, at least she found out what a jerk he was before it was too late.

  8. People, please... me finding this funny is the worst thing you can find wrong with me???!? Get real.

Besides, I am certain that the guy is happy today that this girl turned him down.

  9. Poor guy. I've never been one who thinks this is a very smart thing to do. If I was that girl I would have said yes but then when we headed back I would have given him the grim news. There is something seriously wrong with putting someone on the spot like that in the middle of a game with thousands of people. At the same time I would make the guy look like a complete idiot either. It's just sad.
